The design of the Oscar E. McClinton, Jr. Waterfront Park invites community residents and visitors to enjoy the natural environment at the water’s edge. Located in the Northeast Inlet neighborhood of Atlantic City, this new waterfront park, constructed by the County of Atlantic using New Jersey Green Acres Program funds.

Central to the park is a large open lawn surrounded by a walkway, decorative colonnades and landscaping elements consisting of plants native to the coastal environment. A coastal observatory pavilion provides scenic views of the Absecon Inlet and functions as a protected seating and stage area for outdoor events. Park features include a children’s play area and coastal education signage. Decorative lighting and benches are provided throughout the park. The beach area has been extended landward to provide additional space for visitors.
