Virginia Avenue Homes

This important project enhances one of Atlantic City's primary cross-town arteries, Virginia Avenue, which links U.S. Route 30 (the White Horse Pike) with the Boardwalk. Located in the Second Ward's Atlantic Heights District, Virginia Avenue Homes comprise 26 new homes that replaced old, vacant and deteriorated housing along the roadway.

These two-story, two- and three-bedroom twin homes provide attractive Georgetown-style housing for current Atlantic City residents as well as employees of the casinos and other businesses serving the area. Virginia Homes was completed in 2002.

The project marked the first phase of a $21.7 million project that includes a $3 million daycare facility, open park space, facade improvements and extensive roadway improvements.

Construction and Engineering:

The affordably priced townhouses at Virginia Homes are 1,500-square-foot units, featuring three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Each features stylish Georgian architecture and a full range of comforts and conveniences, including:

    • Spacious master bedroom
    • Fully equipped kitchen
    • Complete appliance package
    • Detached garage
    • Off-street parking
