Considered a catalyst to the redevelopment of the central business district, the $14 million Plaza consists of 70,000 square feet of retail space including a Thriftway Supermarket, the first new supermarket in the City in 25* years.  Opened in 1996, the shopping center also houses a CVS pharmacy, a dozen retail shops and a McDonalds Express.

Legendary entertainers who performed at the jazz clubs on Atlantic City’s renowned Kentucky Avenue are celebrated on a mural which reflects the exciting musical history of the area.  A collaborative effort between the CRDA, NJ School of the Arts and Roslyn Sailor Fine Arts, this colorful mural was created by City high school students under the tutelage of Brazilian artist, Ferjo.
