Tropicana Casino and Resort has opened one of the first of Atlantic City’s six Entertainment Retail Districts. "The Quarter" features 194,000 square feet of retail and entertainment and dining experiences in a three-story shopping village with the glitz of Las Vegas, the excitement of Old Havana and the sophistication of Europe.

The CRDA is providing $20 million in subsidies to help underwrite the planned $225 million two-phase expansion. Phase Two is a 500-room hotel tower and 2,400-space parking garage.
