 Roosevelt Place Beach Pavilion

At the July 27, 2010 meeting of the Board of the CRDA, the Authority approved the renovation of the Roosevelt Place Beach Pavilion on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo T. Langford requested that CRDA consider funding the restoration of the Roosevelt Place Beach Pavilion. The pavilion is used by residents and visitors alike enjoy the views of the beach and boardwalk with protection from the sun. It was also on the list of Top Ten Eyesores of Atlantic City.

The CRDA Board authorized $136,000, in a preliminary budget, for the design and renovation of the Roosevelt Place Pavilion.

The Roosevelt Place beach Pavilion is located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk between Roosevelt Place and Albany Avenue. It has been a fixture in the community since the 1970s. The pavilion has suffered from years of storm damage and is currently stripped down to its steel frame.
