Atlantic City Restaurant Week Kickoff Event February 22
~ Enjoy a taste of what’s to come March 5-10 ~
(Atlantic City, NJ, January 12, 2017) – What better way to get ready for Atlantic City Restaurant Week, March 5 – 10, than to taste some favorite restaurant menu items at the Atlantic City Restaurant Week Preview event, Wednesday, February 22. This kickoff event takes place from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
Sponsored by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, more than a dozen restaurants will provide samples of items from their menus. Samples from the winning menu of a Pre-Chef Grand Prix cooking competition, being held February 7 at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Atlantic City Worthington Campus, will also be presented at this popular event.
A cash bar will be available, and ticket holders will be entered into drawings for Atlantic City Restaurant Week-branded prizes. Music will be provided by the Kenny I Orchestra.
A limited number of 300 tickets will be sold for the event in advance, at $35.00 each. Remaining tickets, if any, will be available for sale onsite at the event, cash sales only.
Tickets can be purchased online through a secure payment portal, beginning Friday, January 13 at www.acrestaurantweek.com, or in person at the CRDA’s Visitor Information Centers on the Atlantic City Expressway at mile marker 3.5 and on the Boardwalk at Mississippi Avenue in Boardwalk Hall.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College.
The ninth annual Atlantic City Restaurant Week, March 5-10, 2017, features more than 60 of the area’s fine dining restaurants offering value-priced three-course lunches at $15.17 per person and three-course dinners at $35.17 (tax, gratuity and beverage extra).
