The former school and community center at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church on Mississippi Avenue has been transformed into Dante Hall, a $3.5 million, 280-seat performing arts center.

The unique renovation focused on the heritage of the traditional Italian neighborhood of Atlantic City with the most advanced audio-visual theater systems. This jewel of a theater allows seating for up to 278 guests, and is flexible enough to accommodate stage presentations, concerts, film presentations plus lecture and assembly functions.

Funded by the CRDA, this intimate theater opened in 2004 and is rapidly becoming a center for cultural activity for community residents and visitors alike.
